I am not a professional artist; for me, art is a space for meditation, reflection, and sharing. My work explores “Life, the Universe & Everything” as seen and felt through an artist’s eye. I work primarily with linocut and woodcut, aiming to create visually striking images that stay with the viewer. I favour simplicity over complexity, reducing noise to focus on the essential elements of an image and inviting an intuitive response while leaving room for interpretation.

Much of my work is inspired by photography: the interplay of light and shadow, strong geometry, and the ability to capture a moment and distil its essence. Photography often informs my compositions, helping me visualise the image before drawing.

In printmaking, I emphasise the bold graphic qualities of relief printing, working minimally with limited colour and strong forms to capture what the eye notices first and memory retains.
