Ros Pritchard
Fleeting moments, capturing the essence of a place, or time - these are the things I work to represent in my prints.
I am equally drawn to the beauty, vigour and energy of plants and to the patterns and hidden darknesses they create. And so, plant life, coastal views, landscapes and shifting light and shadows inspire me, wherever I am.
Ros works mainly in linocuts, creating both reduction and multi-plate prints, and in photopolymer gravure. However, she is constantly exploring different print processes and developing techniques which best express her vision. She is an active member of Richmond Printmakers and the Printmakers Council and exhibits widely with both.
